AS OF AUGUST 1, 2025, IN YOUR PRIME IS NO LONGER ACTING AS AN ACTIVE MENTAL HEALTH PRACTICE

If you are reading this, you are likely someone tied to me through my professional community or the work I have done in the past. I am currently taking time away from work and my practice to focus on personal goals and some major life changes. As I shared news with those around me of my own future plans, people expressed interest in keeping up with me and where life is heading.
I am excited to share that I will be making a major move in May of 2026 and hope to that I am able to share some more specifics about my journey in the near future. I am exploring my professional opportunities at this time while I take some time off of work through the rest of 2026.
Through the past 7 years in private practice, I regularly focused on the individual and their environment, the often-chaotic relationship between the two, and the need for us to elevate ourselves above the chaos through approaching and treating ourselves with kindness, compassion, and understanding so that you can be the person that you want to be outwardly. While emphasizing relaxation, I realized, I had not been making time for true self care in a very long time. I am currently putting into practice the words I used in attempt to support and motivate others. I made time to relax every day, but I was missing the mark on giving myself time for self care. Sometimes the negligence of your own self care is just easy to miss… or easy to ignore. I am proud to be feeling good practicing true self care.
These have been some of the highlights of self care since stepping away from private practice:
Taking time to engage in art, multiple times per week, and eventually daily.
Spending more time outside.
Approaching people with new curiousities and questions.
Taking a road trip across the Western United States.
Spending less time in front of screens and social media.
Strengthening and developing personal practices for improved wellness.
Spending time on doing high value activities.
