Accommodating COVID-19 Coronavirus concerns via telehealth with current and potential clients

As of today, large gathering and events in the St. Louis area are being postponed and cancelled and people are being warned to take major precaution while interacting with others due to concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 Coronavirus.

As healthcare provider, I understand the concerns and risks that come with potential exposure to the virus. I am doing my best to ensure that none of my current or future clients are put at risk of being exposed to COVID-19 during therapy sessions at In Your Prime Counseling LLC.

At this time, I plan to continue to offer in person therapy services at both locations. However, at a point where I believe I am putting my clients at risk, or if my clients feel that they are at risk of being exposed to COVID-19 in their therapy sessions, I will accommodate these concerns by providing telehealth services.

Telehealth services are provided via video webcam between the therapist and client on a secure web page. Telehealth services should not dramatically change the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist. The video services I offer can be accessed by computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone using your computer or mobile web browser. Before the appointment, I will email you link to a secure telehealth session. The client copies that link directly into their browser, allows the service to access the camera and microphone on their device, and the session begins at that time.

Copayments and cost of services will not change by opting for telehealth services and all current therapeutic agreements will be honored.

If you are a current client or you are interested in beginning telehealth services, contact Scott Morrow, MSW, LCSW by phone at 314-492-4242 or email at scottmorrow@inyourprimestl.com.
